Where to move and how to decide...

Where to move and how to decide...

Which direction do I move? Well if you own/are buying a detached property then consider this:

MOVE North to Profit....selling your home on the south side of the Vancouver/North Shore divide and buying a house on the north side can be a significant move up for the same price in the current market.

SELL Vancouver West to Profit...the sale prices for detached prices in Dunbar and Point Grey in particular are CRAZY and multiple offers are the norm in some pockets-this is a good time to downsize or move out of the area if that was in your plans.

SELL Vancouver East to Profit...the sales activity for houses being sold in the East Side of Vancouver is not too far behind the West side.

So if you have ever thought it might be nice to live near the mountains, with an ocean view to the sunny south, now may be the optimal time to cross a bridge and pocket some profit...

But of course in choosing where to live and purchase a house you need to do what works for your family.  In the Vancouver proper and North Shore, there are a lot of great neighbourhoods and great schools and currently on the North Shore, in both West Van and North Van, there are some great values! And as I have been saying for about a year now, the prices on waterfront have been fantastic!

If you would like to discuss your real estate options and what the current real estate market activity means to you, pls call or email.
