How is the market doing? According to
the Vancouver Sun May 8, 2007 B.C. housing starts fell by 11 per
cent during the first four months of 2007 when compared to the
first four months of 2006. This information came from the Canada
Mortgage and Housing Corp.

the Real Estate Weekly magazine has a
cover story on single women in the real estate market. The numbers
are pretty encouraging! The article said "Currently, 30 per cent
of single, never-before married women own their own home, while 45
per cent of divorced or separated women and 64 per cent of widowed
women are homeowners..." http://www.rew.ca/fullstory.htm. These numbers are not too bad ...

Many people envy their neighbours lovely
backyards-green, perfectly cut grass….it is not something
that I aspire to have due to the water, chemicals etc. often
required to keep a yard that way. Fortunately, in the Cove the
water from rain is often plentiful and dry grass grows back so it
is not as much of an issue. Nevertheless, apparently

This weekend, the Globe and Mail
contained an article about homes which had been marijuana grow ops
potentially being great deals for home buyers. It
recounted the experience of a couple who had been able to buy a
grow op at a reduced price. As we know, BC is likely
the grow op capital of Canada . Fortunately, perhaps because there
